It serves to provide the bulk of the daytime consumption for the entire 400+ Acre private property. Initially installed before hurricane Irma struck the BVI, the roof array was destroyed by an airborne shipping container and required a rebuild following Irma. The system had already turned a profit in year four, after being rebuilt 20% larger than the original DC array using updated modules.
